Why Early Access?

“Golden Core Simulator combines cultivation progression with automated factory building. Through players' hands-on experience, we hope to refine the progression from manual cultivation to automation, improve the experience of arranging meridians and cultivation methods, and deepen the strategic choices involved in managing resources of the five elements. Early Access will help us understand the challenges different players encounter and the approaches they discover, so we can adjust our development priorities accordingly.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the Early Access period to last approximately 6–12 months. This timeframe may change depending on development progress and player feedback. We will communicate any changes to this estimate through Steam community announcements.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to build on the existing cultivation and automation gameplay by expanding the options for combining cultivation methods and optimizing production lines, refining realm progression and resource balance, and improving gameplay instructions, interface feedback, and performance. Specific content and development priorities will be adjusted based on player feedback. We also aim to develop further cultivation realms where possible.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes the main progression from an ordinary mortal to Early Core Formation. Players can learn cultivation arts, open their Qi Store, Mind Sea, and Dantian, lay out meridians, and place cultivation methods to gradually automate qi collection, refining, and transport. Along the way, they manage resources of the five elements, balance Spiritual Sense supply and demand, handle turbid qi, and take on the challenge of forming their core.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As more content is added, we may increase the price during Early Access or at full release. If we decide to adjust the price, we will announce it in advance on Steam.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players can report issues, share layout designs, and offer suggestions through the game's official community group. We will use this feedback to assess the controls and overall usability, progression pacing, and gameplay balance, and share changes and upcoming development priorities through update announcements. Suggestions will be considered in light of the game's direction and our development resources.”

About This Game

An ancient manual, a world within your body, and a journey from mortal to core formation. Begin by guiding your first wisp of qi, then build a cultivation factory you can observe, adjust, and keep running. Every new technique, meridian, and refined resource brings your next breakthrough closer.

Begin your cultivation with a wisp of qi

Open the cultivation manual and study Inner Sight, Sense Qi, Guide Qi, and Refine Qi. Draw qi into your body by hand and refine it into Clear Qi, then use cultivation methods to produce higher-grade materials. Nourish and open your Qi Store, Mind Sea, and Dantian, watching the principles you learn take shape as new abilities.

Lay meridians and let cultivation flow

Place breathing and refining methods, lay meridians, and decide where each elemental resource should go. Start with a few simple connections, then use sorting, conversion, storage, and hidden meridians to build a network that steadily feeds your processes and nourishes your inner structures. Find shortages and bottlenecks, adjust your layout, and make your cultivation system more efficient and reliable.

Sustain spiritual sense and clear away turbidity

Spiritual Sense powers enhanced breathing and refining, along with methods such as qi conversion and liquid condensation. Conversion and condensation also produce turbidity. Supply Refined Qi to support Spiritual Sense, pair elements for liquid condensation, and treat and expel waste. As production grows, accumulated turbidity can reduce Spiritual Sense generation and drain your lifespan faster, making balance essential.

Make your remaining years count

Learning new methods costs lifespan, and cultivation takes time. Breakthroughs grant more years to continue your journey. Choose what to study, when to expand, and when to pursue the next realm. Finally, prepare a steady supply of Spirit Liquid and Spiritual Sense, keep the pressure in your Dantian within a safe range, and form your inner core to reach Early Core Formation.
