About This Game

Meow Defence War is a pixel-art physics-based strategy game. Your mission is to build defensive fortifications using different materials, ensuring Meow survives the various attacks from the mice and achieving higher scores.

Use your wit and basic physics knowledge to build the most ingenious defenses with limited funds, resisting the mice's attacks and other threats. Utilize the environment and available materials to achieve victory. Failure is not a problem; you can quickly retry and adjust, or continuously challenge for higher scores.

Realistic Physics Simulation

Building materials, projectiles, and Meow all have realistic physics effects, with damage calculated based on physical impact force. Rolling, bouncing, and squeezing all pose threats to materials and Meow. These physics effects can also be used strategically; a smaller impact angle reduces damage, while materials that directly block projectiles will suffer greater damage. By controlling the angle and position of materials, you can even deflect projectiles with minimal damage.

Multiple Materials and Threats

Materials: There are four types of materials: wood, stone, iron, and bubbles. Each material has unique characteristics and different prices. Bubble-type materials are the cheapest but fragile; however, they can levitate and sometimes have unexpected effects. Iron materials are the most expensive and strongest, but beware of the threat from electric projectiles.

Projectiles: There are 8 types of projectiles, each with different effects. Some ignite wood, some have excessive weight, some delay explosions, and some attract objects. Projectiles can be launched by the mouse and may also be distributed in the air.

Environment: Sometimes you'll even have to deal with gaps in the terrain; remember not to let your cat fall into the water.

Mouse Attack Strategy: Mouse attack the weakest points in the defenses. They always choose the least obstructed parabolic trajectory, meaning the area with the fewest materials. However, mice don't have very good eyesight, so you can try to deceive them using materials; sometimes what seems weak is actually the strongest.

Score Leaderboard

Spending less money, having more health remaining for your cat, or adding a random projectile can all lead to higher scores. Each level has its own score leaderboard, allowing you to continuously challenge for higher scores.

In addition to scores, the layout of your character's building within each level will be simultaneously uploaded to the leaderboard. Your clever layout will be showcased to all players, or you can view other players' layouts for inspiration.

Multiple Gameplay Modes

Counterattack Mode: Meow Meow has captured the turret! In this mode, you can control the turret to try and destroy the defenses you've built.

Random Challenge Mode: New levels are randomly generated from existing levels. Try facing new challenges in this mode.

Hotseat Battle Mode: Allows two players to play offline simultaneously. One player builds the layout, while the other controls the turret to try and destroy it.
