About This Game

Too Much Baggage is a strategy simulation game about designing the hidden luggage systems behind an airport.

Passengers drop off their bags, watch them disappear behind a wall, and hope they'll somehow turn up again at the other end.

What happens behind that wall is your problem.

Build conveyor networks, route bags through security, work around obstacles, and keep everything moving as your airport gets busier.

Every bag has somewhere to be.

Build what happens behind the wall

The baggage system is the heart of Too Much Baggage.

Build conveyor networks to route luggage through airport security, working around the space and obstacles you're given to get every bag where it needs to go.

Each airport is procedurally generated, so every run gives you a new layout to solve.

Keep the airport moving

A few passengers are easy. A few more? Probably fine. But the airport doesn't stop.

Queues get longer, bags pile up, and the system that worked perfectly five minutes ago suddenly has twice as much luggage trying to squeeze through it.

If passengers are kept waiting too long to drop off their bags, they'll lose patience. If too much luggage enters your security system, belts and machines can jam and become overloaded.

Keep either problem under control, or your run is over.

Build. Break. Beat your best.

Eventually, something is going to go wrong.

Too Much Baggage keeps track of your previous runs, giving you something to beat the next time you start an airport.

Try a different layout. Make different choices. Fix the bottleneck that ruined you last time.

Then create an entirely new bottleneck you didn't know was possible.

Choose how your system grows

As a run progresses, you'll be presented with a choice of three random upgrades to help you build and maintain your airport.

Choose what your system needs most and adapt your plans around the options you're given.

The airport isn't going to get any quieter.

Start behind the wall. Then run the whole thing.

Too Much Baggage has three Endless modes, each adding more of the airport for you to manage.

Start behind the wall, focusing entirely on routing bags through security.

Then take on increasingly complex airports where you'll also route passengers through departures, get their luggage into your system, and bring passengers and bags back together at arrivals.

By the third Endless mode, you're responsible for the entire journey:

Departures → Security → Arrivals

Each run takes place on a procedurally generated level with obstacles changing where you can build, so you'll need to design a new system around the airport you're given.

Learn the ropes

A short tutorial campaign introduces the different parts of the airport and teaches you how to build and maintain your baggage systems.

Once you've got the basics down, Endless mode is where the real challenge begins.

Build your own baggage nightmares

The Level Editor lets you design your own airport challenges and share them with other players.

Build something clever, something cruel, or an airport that should never have received planning permission.

Make it yours

Choose from 12 different colour themes and give your airport a look that suits you.

Because baggage handling is stressful enough without having to stare at a colour you don't like.

How long can you keep the bags moving?

Every airport starts with a little space and a manageable number of passengers.

It won't stay that way.

Build your system. Keep up with demand. Beat your previous runs.

And try very hard not to lose anyone's suitcase.

Every bag has somewhere to be.
