Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect RESIDUE to remain in early access for roughly 6 months. This is an estimate and may change depending on development progress and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version of RESIDUE to be a more polished and expanded experience, with improved performance and multiplayer stability, refined balance and progression, and additional weapons, items, production options, customization options, and other content. These plans will evolve throughout early access based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“RESIDUE’s core gameplay loop is already playable, including multiplayer city raids, PvP combat, looting and extraction, contraband production and buyer deals, crafting, stash and loadout management, and hideout progression and customization. The game is still in active development, with continued work planned on performance, networking, balance, progression, content, and overall polish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not currently plan to change the price when RESIDUE leaves early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback will play a major role throughout early access. We plan to use Steam Discussions, Discord, playtests, and direct feedback to identify bugs, improve multiplayer stability, refine balance and progression, and help shape future updates. The community will have a real voice in what we focus on next. We’ll also share development updates and patch notes as RESIDUE evolves.”
