Find me. I'm right in front of you.

In BlenDead you don't hide behind walls — you pose as an NPC in a crowd. Stand still, move like they do, and pray the hunter walks past. One mistake and you're dead.

The Hunt

A round lasts 5 minutes, with up to 16 players. Hunters come in with 10 bullets and a single mission: find the ones hiding in the crowd, right in front of you.

How do you unmask a Blender? You offer them a bullet.

• Shoot the air or objects all you want — nobody minds.

• Shoot a Blender — no bullet spent. Clean hunt.

• Shoot an innocent NPC — 2-bullet penalty. You just ruined the poor guy's day.

You're not hunting blind, though: once a minute, a thermometer flashes on screen for 15 seconds — Hot, Warm or Cold — hinting how close you are to a Blender. When it reads Hot, someone nearby is sweating.

Blenders can't camp their way to victory: hold the same action too long and you start trembling — frantically. Nothing blows your cover like shaking in the middle of a calm crowd.

The round ends when all Blenders have been found, when the hunters run out of bullets, or when time runs out.

The Betrayal

Got caught? It's not over. You become a Hunter on the spot and join the hunt alongside the one who shot you. Your blend brothers are now your prey.

The Score

Everything counts. As a Blender, you get tasks that pull you out of hiding — high risk, high reward. Or play it safe, move like a model NPC, and become the master nobody ever notices. Every round adds to your overall high score, and there are achievements to hunt down.

BlenDead is made by the two of us, friends who build games in our spare time. When we started, we were convinced the idea was completely original and nobody had ever thought of it before. Then we found out we're not exactly alone in the vast world of PC games — but we kept going anyway, set on bringing out the best in the idea and giving it our own twist.
