About This Game

At the edge of the city stands an old Courtyard.

When someone is there to care for it, fresh water, food, and shelter wait by the gate. When no one is, weeds slowly creep over the threshold.

People may have forgotten the place, but word of it still passes quietly among Furballs.

Then, one morning after the rain, you open the gate.

Bring the Courtyard Back to Life

Once a Furball settles in and feels at ease, soft tufts of Fluff begin to gather around it.

Gather the Fluff, and the Courtyard slowly comes back to life—the windowsill catches the sun again, bowls return to the kitchen shelves, the bath fills with clean water, and soil and grass reappear in the garden…

As the Courtyard grows livelier, more Furballs begin to find their way here.

Meet More Furballs

Every Furball has its own personality and habits.

Some love basking in the sun. Some like watching the gate. Some quickly get used to having you around, while others watch from a distance for a long time before coming a little closer.

Now and then, they slip out for a wander. When they return, they seem to bring a little of the outside breeze with them.

Spend enough time together, and you'll slowly learn each Furball's story—and what life was like before it came to the Courtyard.

Furballs Won't Stay Forever

When a Furball is ready and has found the right new home, you can see it off as it begins the next chapter of its life.

After a while, you may receive a letter about how it's doing.

Leaving isn't the end. The story simply continues somewhere else.

Quiet Company on Your Desktop

When you're working, studying, or busy with something else, you can switch the game to a compact desktop window.

Let one or two Furballs quietly keep you company in the corner of your screen—sleeping, staring into space, or sharpening their claws…

The next time you look over, a different Furball may be there.

And the Courtyard may be just a little livelier than before.
