The Story

Twenty years ago, royal wizard Lazaar attempted to harness the power of a comet and open a portal to another world. The spell succeeded—but something went terribly wrong. A mysterious cloud formed above the castle, raining powerful relics and terrifying monsters upon the kingdom.

But the monsters carry something the King desperately needs. When they die, they release Cosmic Crystals—fragments of the energy that came through the portal. Collect enough, and you may finally have the power to close the portal for good.

Blamed for the catastrophe, Lazaar went rogue and vanished into the comet cloud. Now he commands the portal’s power, determined to drive everyone from his castle.

Fight through waves of undead soldiers, mummies, giant spiders, and trolls. And as the night deepens, prepare to face creatures far more terrifying—including dragons.

Lazaar, the former royal wizard, is no longer on your side. Somewhere within the comet cloud, he is using the very power that caused the catastrophe against the King and his kingdom. As you progress, you will uncover more about the portal and what truly happened twenty years ago.

The King has given you one mission:

Reclaim the castle and put an end to the creatures that have taken it over.

The Hand of the King will guide you through your mission, while the Princess uses her knowledge of the monsters and the strange relics to help you understand the threat.
