About This Game

The castle does not hold itself.

You are one of five wardens standing a vigil at the end of the world. The horde comes in waves. The dead do not stay dead.

Five classes, five ways to die badly.

  • Tank — the wall the horde breaks against. Hold the line, ring the peal, refuse to move.

  • Berserker — slaughter as rhythm. Keep the tempo or lose the fire.

  • Mage — reality as a rough draft. Comets, wards, and a great deal of standing still.

  • Rogue — in, out, and gone before the wound registers.

  • Hunter — mark the quarry, plant the cairn, and let nothing leave the courtyard.

Each carries its own kit, its own passive rhythm, and its own set of talents to sink shards into.

The forge rewrites you between waves.

Improve your kit looting runes from downed mobs, by unlocking talent vaults or forging your soul by consuming relics.

The bosses await in the crypt.

Four wardens of the castle wait in the darkness. Morthain. The Hollow Bell. Skarn. Vaskha. Which one answers, no one knows.

And then it does not stop.

Endless mode takes the brakes off entirely. There is no victory screen down there — only a number, and the question of whether you can beat the one you left last time.

What's in the box;

Endless fun in a run— a whole vigil in one sitting

Five classes with distinct kits, passives and talent trees

A dust economy of doors, traps and set-pieces that punishes hoarding and greed equally

Four rotating bosses

Endless mode with a persistent record to beat

22 achievements and lifetime kill statistics for every enemy and boss in the game

Difficulty presets from Normal to Nightmare

Fully playable in 30 languages

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Soulforge uses generative AI for part of its asset production. All AI-assisted content is pre-generated, fixed in the shipped build, and reviewed by the developer before release — the game generates no content at runtime.

• 2D art: UI frames and chrome, spell and passive ability icons, class portraits, key art and store capsule art were produced using AI image generation from written style briefs, then selected, corrected, cropped, rescaled, composited and colour-graded by the developer before being imported into the game.
• 3D models and textures: a portion of environment and prop assets were produced with AI generation tools, then edited, retopologised and hand-adjusted before being used in the game.
• Localization: the game's 20 interface languages were produced with AI translation, each language then passed through a separate independent AI review pass and a mechanical validator. Native-speaker review is ongoing and corrections ship as they arrive.

Audio is procedurally synthesised with hand-written DSP code, not generated by an AI model.

We have reviewed the shipped assets and believe they contain no illegal or infringing content.
