Who are you? Are the things you say truly what you believe, or are they simply the answers you choose to give in that moment?

EGO X The Truth is a narrative-driven journey in which, instead of controlling a predefined character, you shape your own identity through the answers you give throughout the game.

The 12 different NPCs you encounter do more than simply tell you a story. Each one challenges you with different ideas, beliefs, values, and perspectives. The answers you give during these conversations gradually define who your character becomes.

But the game remembers what you say.

Contradicting something you previously defended, acting against your own values, or behaving in a way that conflicts with the identity you have created will not go without consequences. Your character carries the weight of this inner conflict; they may suffer, lose their psychological stability, and gradually begin to lose their sense of reality.

The goal is not simply to find the “correct answer.” What truly matters is whether you can stand behind the answers you give.

As you encounter characters inspired by different civilizations, historical periods, and schools of thought, you will confront concepts such as ego, belief, morality, identity, and truth.

Every answer shapes your character.
Every contradiction leaves a mark.
And in the end, the truth you face may be a reflection of the answers you gave.
