About This Game

In MATTER SCATTER, you play as matter itself.

Catch the right particles and you bond, grow, and evolve.
Hit the wrong one and you're stripped back down, or gone entirely.

Play through the real timeline of the universe:

  • Quark-Gluon Plasma & Hadronization — bond quarks into protons and neutrons

  • Nucleosynthesis — fuse into an atomic nucleus

  • Recombination — capture electrons and go molecular

  • Dark Ages — grow a cloud of hydrogen while dodging a black hole

  • Stellar Nucleosynthesis — climb the fusion ladder from hydrogen to iron inside a living star, and go supernova

  • Stardust & the Protoplanetary Disk — gather the wreckage of a star into a brand new world
