Command a war machine from inside the battlefield. Iron Command is a classic base-building RTS — harvest, build, research, attack — playable on your monitor or in VR, where the battlefield lies in front of you and your orders go out from a tablet on your wrist.

About This Game

Two worlds, one war

Humanity's Aegis Command holds the surface with steel, discipline and firepower. The Kharzeth pour out of the rifts — burning, spreading, feeding on the same ground you are trying to hold.

Both sides play by the rules you already know from the classics: raise a base, feed it, defend it, and push out. Both sides break those rules in their own way.

A real-time strategy game you can stand inside

Iron Command plays on your monitor like the strategy games it grew out of. Put on a headset and the same battle is laid out in front of you: you look down on the terrain, reach out, and give orders from a tablet strapped to your wrist. Build, produce, research, check your objectives — all of it from the wrist, without ever leaving the field.

What you do

  • Build a base — command centre, refinery, power, factories, research, defences
  • Run an economy — harvest riftstones, keep the power on, expand under pressure
  • Research — upgrades that change how your units fight, not just their numbers
  • Fight — infantry, tanks, artillery, air defence, and turrets that hold a line

Content

  • Commander training — five missions that teach one mechanic each
  • Skirmish — ten maps against the AI, with difficulty and pace you set
  • Multiplayer — one on one over Steam, or directly on your own network

Playable flat or in VR

One game, one build. Start it on your monitor with mouse and keyboard, or start it in VR — the campaign, the skirmishes and the multiplayer are the same in both.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Iron Command uses generative AI for part of its content:

• 3D models and their textures were generated with AI. Every model was then cleaned up, scaled, oriented and assembled into the game by hand.
• The key art used on the title screen and for the store images was generated with an image model and edited afterwards.
• The spoken mission briefings and unit voice lines are produced with a text-to-speech system from scripts written by the developer.

Game design, programming, level design, balancing and all written text are the developer's own work, created without generative AI.
