Why Early Access?

“Granny - Welcome Home is a story driven game divided into multiple maps. We are currently releasing the first map, which introduces a small part of the story. More maps and story content will be added over time, which is why the game is marked as Early Access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Because the team is small, we can't really say this. Right now we are thinking that the game is going to be in Early Access for year and a half.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are going to add different maps that will have their key features. For example: First House that already is in the game, will have detective features where you would have to guess in the right way, what happened to Victor, by solving puzzles and finding more clues on what happened. Second house that is still in development will have a radio that will tell player what he has to do, by talking about Granny's family and what happened to them. We also will change the look of the game, enemy AI, add more challenges and Score board so player can compete on speed with each challenge and map.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game has only puzzles and items to interact with. You can pick-up some items and use them to break, open or fix other items. Also the game has primitive enemy AI that can: chase player, patrol the house and look for noise that player make by: walking on wooden floor, dropping an item or by bumping into a picture on walls. You currently can't investigate Victor's case, but it will be added in near updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Most likely, we’ll increase the game's price after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will look at your featback on steam community, youtube and steam reviews. By this we will see what you players want to see in this game, so we can build it together.”
