What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Rhythm Aero is being developed as an indie rhythm game, and we want to involve the community throughout its development. Early Access will allow players to experience the core game while we continue expanding its content, improving existing systems, and refining the overall experience based on player feedback.

We are releasing the game in Early Access because we want to build Rhythm Aero gradually, starting with its essential gameplay and systems and developing it into the complete experience we envision for version 1.0.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Rhythm Aero to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This is an estimate, and the development timeframe may change depending on the game's development progress and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will provide the core Rhythm Aero experience, including its main rhythm gameplay, playable content, level editor, customization systems, and other essential features.

During Early Access, we plan to gradually expand the game with additional songs, levels, visual content, customization options, gameplay improvements, and other features.

The 1.0 version is intended to bring these systems together into a more complete and polished experience, with additional content and improvements developed throughout Early Access.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current 'Early Access' version contains the CORE rhythm gameplay of Rhythm Aero, with playable songs, multiple difficulty levels, controller support, and the MAIN systems needed to normally play and complete a level.

Players can also create their own custom levels using the built-in level editor, allowing them to create and experiment with their own levels

The game currently includes its main gameplay loop and visual direction, along with customization and progression systems. The early access version represents the foundation of the game, while additional content, features, polish, optimization, and improvements are planned throughout development.

as a solo-developed indie game, development is ongoing and the current version may contain bugs or areas that are still being refined.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as we add new content, features, and improvements during Early Access. Players who purchase the game earlier will receive all future updates included with their purchase.

As the game continues to receive major updates and additional content after version 1.0, we may make gradual price adjustments to reflect the growing amount of content and the overall experience.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through player feedback, suggestions, bug reports, and community-created content.

Players will be able to share their feedback about gameplay, level design, difficulty, performance, usability, and new features. We will use this feedback to help prioritize improvements and decide which areas of the game need further refinement.

Rhythm Aero also includes a level editor that allows players to create their own custom levels. We want the community to play, create, share, and experiment with these levels, helping the game grow beyond the content created by the developer.

We will continue monitoring community feedback throughout Early Access and use it as an important part of the development process leading toward version 1.0.
