About This Demo

One county. One season. The whole game.

This is not a slice. Everything inside the year is the finished game: the league that pays your bills, the championship under the 2026 rules, the club championship taking the autumn back, and a county board that has been watching all along.

Eight counties, four codes.
Football: Mayo, Meath, Waterford. Hurling: Clare, Antrim, Sligo. Camogie: Cork. Ladies' football: Dublin. Sleeping giants, rebuilds, counties who would take a good summer and be glad of it, and two standard-bearers with everything to lose. Pick the job you fancy.

You are the bainisteoir.
Pick your thirty from the clubs inside your own county, name your fifteen, and answer for it. Nobody is bought. Everybody is from somewhere.



The players are amateurs, and the game knows it.
Students sit exams in May. A day job takes its fortnight back. Players emigrate, and you can sit one down and try to talk them out of the boats for a winter. A player with no Sundays left stops answering the phone, and your selectors warn you before that happens.

Match days you actually manage.
Watch it live, make your switches while the play runs, burn your subs, and pick your moment for the speech at the break.



Then the board has its say.
The demo runs to the end of the county year, through the club final, and stops on the board's verdict: what they expected, what you gave them, and whether they would have kept you. That verdict is the game in miniature.

The full game opens the thirty-two counties and the exile boards, all four codes on one calendar, and the twenty years after that first verdict: development, rebuilds, approaches from other boards, and the job market that follows a bad season. Out January 2027.
