The world stopped working properly years ago... Nobody wanted to call off the football.

Ten national teams still walk out onto the pitch. The refs take cash. The crowd throws bottles, stones, whatever they can find. There might be a guy with a rifle up in the stands, and the match still is not getting called off.

Mortal Football is a 5v5 arcade football brawler where a goal still counts as a goal. The only difference is that now you can walk right over three unconscious defenders to score it. No fouls. No offside. No throw-ins. The ball bounces off the advertising boards and play never stops.

⚽ IT LOOKS LIKE FOOTBALL. IT PLAYS LIKE A FIGHTING GAME.

• Punches are fast and knock the ball loose from the other guy. Kicks are slow, but they send him flying into the boards.

• Combos, counters, guard breaks and juggles, with hit-stop on every clean connection.

• 100 HP per player, blood on the grass, wall splats, and hits that leave a team one man down.

• Level up mid-match by landing hits and scoring: harder punches, faster legs, nastier powers.

• 2 personal abilities per player. Second Wind, Shoulder Charge, Sliding Tackle, Cannon Shot, Turbo, and many more to unlock and discover. Every hero carries a different pair, so every hero plays differently.

• 2 team powers per side, and this is where it all goes to hell. Buy the referee. Whip the crowd into an ovation that buffs your squad. Call down a hail of stones. Let a sniper thin out the defense.

• Some powers help you play. Some help you cheat. Some just set the pitch on fire and leave the rest up to God.

• The list keeps growing, and two powers landing at the same time make situations nobody planned. That is the whole point.

Some art assets were created with the help of AI tools: the character sprites (players, referee and police) were built from AI-generated 3D models, then animated and rendered in Blender.
