“Lopem’s best chance to grow into the game it’s meant to be comes from building it together with the community. The core idea is simple, but there’s a lot more depth beneath the surface, and Early Access gives me the space to refine that complexity with real player feedback.
Through early access, we the community can be given a unique opportunity to work together, to steer the game into a direction that we would all enjoy.”

“It's difficult to say the exact timeframe, as the game will be constantly evolving, taking new concepts, and more than likely refining older ones, in order to achieve a level of polish and clarity that I initially envisioned Lopem to have.

As a result, Lopem will more than likely remain in Early Access for the next (couple) years after its initial debut.

“An ideal full version of Lopem is planned to feature more planets, levels, enemy diversity and interesting attacks, such that they respect the player in providing a fun and challenging experience.
There will also be plans for adding hundreds of new cards, with potentially thousands of new merge possibilities being planned to be made via various upcoming systems.

“The Early Access Version will remain faithful to the game's core concept, there will be bullet-hell style dodging mechanics, and a tasteful card interaction system, which allows for strategising different deck combinations that best synergise with one-another.

With the Early Access Release's first version ( V 0.02 ), you may expect about 5 hours of content all-together. With a planned 150 cards to be discovered, purchased and crafted.

The game will plan to feature one planet, of which includes three levels in it's first release ( each level consisting of 7 / 10 / 10 respective. stages) .”

“Players who purchase the game now, may see it more as supporting the game, and helping it thrive early in development, and the cheaper price being my personal token of gratitude for their faith in the game's progress.

With Lopem's first main version ( the one that will leave early access ), you may expect a slight increase in the overall cost. ”

“Community involvement will be a key part of Lopem's development. While developing new features will take time, I will to the best of my ability involve you ( the community ) in all major game-changing decisions.
Players will have the opportunity to influence balance, content direction and suggest new card ideas as they emerge.
My goal is to build Lopem as an open book, with clear communication and a genuine willingness on my end to adapt to what fits the game best. ”
