About This Game

Take the scenic route. Or blow stuff up.

Skim a moving train, thread your plane through a barn, or line up a rocket run. Sunday Fighter Pilot is a flying sandbox where sightseeing, stunt flying and destruction all help you build your next hangar collection.

Choose Casual flying for exploration and flying challenges, or switch to Blow stuff up for guns, rockets and spectacular wreckage.

A whole world to wander

Explore a continuous 96 × 96 km world spanning forests, deserts, Arctic coastlines, volcanic slopes and autumn valleys. Discover over a hundred landable airfields and hundreds of landmarks, from country manors and vineyards to towering rock arches and enormous hangars.

Follow an optional scenic route, investigate something on the horizon, or pick an unfamiliar runway and see where the flight takes you.

Make the gap

Fly through barns and open hangars. Slip beneath bridges and through natural arches. Chase moving gates along steam and diesel trains, or follow trails of rings behind roaming biplanes and triplanes.

Earn stars for discoveries, low flying, loops, barrel rolls and successful landings. New discoveries get a moment in the spotlight with slow motion, camera cutaways and fireworks.

Build a hangar of 18 aircraft

Start with a warbird and earn your way through a collection of 18 playable aircraft, each with its own speed and handling.

Try the twin-boom SP-38 Forktail, the swing-wing SP-14 Switchblade or the fast SP-71 Longnight. Find a steady favorite for threading tight gaps, something nimble for low passes, or a jet for crossing the map.

Your next aircraft is bought with the stars you earn by flying.

Leave a little destruction behind

In Blow stuff up, make attack runs against fuel tanks, communications towers and other ground targets. Clear a location to capture it and turn its territory green on the map.

Attack moving trains, bring down zeppelins, or pick off the engines of heavy bombers. Unlimited ammunition gives you room to practice your aim and come around for another pass.

Captured locations and destroyed targets stay saved between flights.

Bring it home

Lower the gear, manage your speed and line up with the runway. Practice your approach, improve your touchdown and discover new airfields to use as departure points.

Casual flying and Blow stuff up have separate worlds and saved progression. Switch between them whenever you feel like a change, with your discoveries, stars and aircraft unlocks waiting for your next flight.
