About the Story:
The story revolves around 23-year-old Jonathan, a former serviceman, who sets out to find his 16-year-old sister Lana.
Lana went on a field trip to an old psychiatric hospital together with other medical students. Everyone who went on the trip returned home — except her.
Lana's last known location leads Jonathan straight to the abandoned hospital, where he goes in hopes of finding his sister and bringing her home.
Inside the hospital, Jonathan discovers traces of old medical research, laboratories, documents, and mentions of a mysterious doctor named Karl Thatcher.
Karl Thatcher spent many years researching an experimental drug he created called Gene-42.
As he progresses, Jonathan begins to learn that the history of the hospital, Gene-42, and his own family are connected far more closely than he could have imagined.
Jonathan doesn't know the whole truth, so the player will uncover what's happening alongside the protagonist, gradually piecing the story together from found documents, dialogues, objects, and events.
The story of Jonathan, Lana, their mother Daisy, and Dr. Karl Thatcher will gradually reveal secrets that have been hidden within the hospital's walls for many years.

About the Music:
Nosophobia's music will blend dark cinematic compositions, atmospheric ambient, and tense musical themes.
The main goal of the music is to create a sense of anxiety, uncertainty, and constant danger.
Sound design plays a major role: ventilation noise, electricity, metal structures, medical equipment, footsteps, and sounds from the rooms around the player.
The line between music and ambient sound will be deliberately blurred, so the player can't always tell whether what they're hearing is part of the atmosphere or a warning of danger.

About Development:
Nosophobia is being developed by Venge Company.
The game is being created with an emphasis on atmosphere, psychological horror, exploration, and cinematic storytelling.
We want the player not just to watch the story unfold, but to piece it together themselves by exploring the hospital and finding hidden details.
Nosophobia is not a high-budget AAA project. We aim to create an atmospheric horror game that focuses on story, environment, and a sense of presence.
Particular attention during development is being paid to creating an abandoned psychiatric hospital with the atmosphere of an old medical and scientific complex.
