It renders straight onto the desktop — behind your icons, under your windows — so the information you care about is always there: the time, your system's pulse, the weather, what's next on your calendar. It thinks, it speaks, and it can act on your machine.

Dashboard Engine ships with a natural neural voice for English, and downloads more on demand — Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, with male and female options for English, Spanish, and French. Tune rate, warmth, and expressiveness into a voice profile and share it on the Workshop. (Voice profiles are just settings — never a recording.)

A BUILT-IN AI ASSISTANT

Your dashboard comes with a voice-enabled AI assistant and a personality you choose — powered by a language model bundled right inside the app. It installs with Dashboard Engine and runs entirely on your own machine: no cloud service, no account, no setup, and nothing sent off your PC.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Dashboard Engine uses AI only at runtime, on your own device, and bundles no pre-generated AI content.

On-device neural text-to-speech (installed by default): the app includes neural TTS voices (MeloTTS and Kokoro) that synthesize spoken audio from text locally on your PC. An English voice is bundled and installed by default; other languages download on demand. These voices produce speech at runtime — for the assistant's replies, spoken system alerts, and voice previews. They are used purely as speech output: a "voice profile" is a small set of tuning settings that reference a licensed base voice, and the app stores or uploads no voice recordings of any kind.

Built-in AI assistant (bundled, on-device): the app installs a single language model (Qwen2.5-1.5B) that runs locally on your own machine — no setup, no account, and no choice of model. When you send the assistant a message, your typed text is processed by that on-device model to generate a conversational reply in real time, which can be read aloud by the on-device TTS above. There is no cloud or external AI service and no API key; nothing leaves your PC, and there is no way to select or connect a different model.

All AI output is generated live, on your device, from your own input by the bundled model, so it is not authored or reviewed by the developer. No AI-generated content is pre-created or bundled with the app.
