An idle/incremental game about a lone radio operator keying into a silent universe. Click or walk away, both work just as well. Build your station, log distant contacts, retune to grow stronger, and slowly decode what answers back.

About This Game

The universe has gone quiet.

Somewhere out there, if anyone is still transmitting, they're on a frequency you haven't found yet. You're a lone radio operator with a transmitter, a logbook, and the patience to keep keying into the dark — building better equipment, working the bands, and listening for a reply that might never come.

CQ: Calling Any Station is an idle/incremental game built around two ways to play that both matter: key by hand and ride the Tempo, feeling every click compound into rhythm — or go idle and let Clear Channel take over while you're away, no progress lost either way.

  • Grow your station from a scavenged oscillator and a valve amp to a Lagrange relay, a pulsar array, and a receiver pulling signal out of gravity-bent starlight.

  • Work the log — chase distant stations across six bands, from AM static to the silence at the edge of the X-band, and fill in every contact you can reach. And when the final watch begins, the whole spectrum opens again — no station stays out of reach forever.

  • Call CQ Field Day — announce a contest on an open band and answer a pileup of callers before the window fades, chasing a personal best that survives every reset.

  • Retune and rebuild — bank Echoes at each reset and grow your station across three branches: Antenna, Operator, and the Log, each shaping how you play from here.

  • The Reply — somewhere in the noise, something is transmitting back. Decode it one fragment at a time, across six chapters, and find out what it's saying.

  • Gild your favorite piece of gear so the first antenna you ever built can still matter at the very end.

  • Every waveform, every glow, every tone is generated in code, not recorded — built and tuned like an instrument, not drawn from a library.

No ads. No microtransactions. Just you, the dial, and the dark.

Key CQ. Somebody might be listening.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

This game uses generative AI for some of its text content — achievement names and descriptions, story fragments, and flavor text were generated with AI assistance during development, along with parts of this store page. The game's art and sound are not AI-generated: every visual is procedural code (vector shapes, no images or bitmaps), and every sound is synthesized in real time — nothing recorded, nothing AI-generated.
