About This Game

The Walking Island is a cozy eco-survival adventure about building a home on the back of a living creature.

In the world of Elaris, the surface is no longer safe. Toxic fog covers the land, oxygen no longer exists naturally, and humanity survives by living on the backs of giant creatures that carry the last pockets of breathable life across the planet.

After a mysterious fog creature destroys your village, you escape on the back of Toptop — a newborn Nomara still learning how to walk. Alone in a poisoned world, you must build a new life from almost nothing, care for the creature who saved you, and search for answers about what happened to your home.

Choose Your Survivor

Begin your journey as one of four playable characters, each with their own personality and strength.

Play as energetic Mo, who can explore farther with extra stamina. Choose quiet and mysterious Noor, whose green thumb helps crops grow healthier and faster. Survive as thoughtful Orin, who is skilled at finding useful materials. Or play as strong-willed Ay, a natural crafter who builds tools and upgrades with greater skill.

Build a Home on a Living Island

Create your own tiny sanctuary on Toptop’s back. Plant crops, place crafting stations, cook food, recycle materials, and prepare for the journey ahead.

Toptop is your companion, your shelter, and your way forward. He is not just land beneath your feet — he is alive.

Feed him. Pet him. Clean pollution from his body. Protect him from strange pests. The better you care for Toptop, the stronger your bond becomes — and the farther he can carry you through the toxic world.
