Long Dives is an idle game set on the ocean floor. You start with a Generator, a Drill and a Market in the sunlit Shallows. Build up power, minerals and biomass, then Dive: reset your base for pearls that make every run faster.

Ten depths wait below. The Dark, the Cinders, the Fissure, the Hadal Zone and the Rift come first. Past the Rift, each Ascension opens one more, all the way down to the Nadir.

Play the market

• Trade on a live order book with candle charts, limit orders, whales and a trade history.
  
• Write rule cards that trade for you. Pick a resource, set up to two conditions, and choose to buy, sell or post a limit order. Start from one of 5 presets.
  
• Take delivery contracts, race urgent orders and climb 6 contract ranks.

Sail voyages

• Send your sub out on a map of stops: Survey, Salvage, Cache, Hazard, Waypoint, Current and Shelter. You pick the route, stop by stop.
  
• 7 story charters ask you questions at sea. The safe answer pays a little. The bold answer rolls the hazard odds for twice that. Your last answer picks the charter's perk.
  
• Follow 6 leads and open 3 side regions: Drowned Yard, Vent Gardens and The Eye.

Automate the deep

• The Procurement Daemon buys buildings for you. Set a target for each building, or let it buy the cheapest.
  
• Auto Helm picks your sub's next stop on its own, even while you're away. Autolaunch sends it back out when it returns.
  
• Research 4 tech trees: Production, Exchange, Logistics and Automation.
  
• Come back after up to 24 hours away and collect what your base made. Upgrades raise the cap.

Three layers of prestige

Dive to reset your base for pearls. Ascend to reset your pearls for Rift Shards and open the depths past the Rift. Strike a Covenant to reset your Ascensions for Sigils that change the rules. Along the way, decode the Archive, tune in to the Signal and find out who is Reading.
