About This Game

THE WORLD ENDED, BUT PEOPLE STILL NEED GAS

PAGS is an isometric colony simulator and base-building game about running the last working fuel stop in the American Southwest.

Set the price at the pump, keep a named crew fed, kitted up, and useful. Expand the station, weigh moral decisions against one another, and prepare to watch those decisions pan out in real time - for good or bad. A good day puts cash in the drawer, but a bad decision could put headlights outside the fence when the sun goes down.

READ THE ROAD

Fuel is cash, leverage, and if priced wrong, an insult.

Raise the price when supplies are thin and desperate drivers may still pay. Push too hard and they’ll keep driving, take your reputation with them, or return looking for blood.

The Rust Devils, Greenborn, Technocratique, and Nomads all arrive with different needs and long memories. Serving one faction can mean disappointing another. The road keeps receipts.

BUILD A PLACE WORTH DEFENDING

Start with cracked concrete, tired pumps, and more open ground than good sense.

Build housing, storage, workshops, medical support, food production, parking, and defenses. Upgrade the buildings that keep the station running. Set patrols. Scavenge loot when the sun goes down. Check out your station in first person. Research technologies to build more and work more efficiently. Lay out the forecourt so customers can reach the pumps without driving through somebody’s bed. Keep your crew off the road when times get busy, or watch them get sent flying across the highway.

Every expansion costs resources you could have spent surviving the night. Weigh every decision against one another.

A NAMED CREW

Assign jobs, equip gear, feed your people, give them somewhere to sleep, and treat the ones who make it home injured. Hire more staff when the opportunity arrives, or recruit them via in-game events.

A good mechanic can keep the station earning. A guard can hold the fence. A scavenger can turn a wreck into tomorrow’s repairs. Send them on patrols and expeditions when the station needs something the road isn’t bringing.

Some trips pay well, and some might take everything from you after a bad roll of the dice.

EVERY CUSTOMER BRINGS A PROBLEM.

Events arrive on foot, over the radio, and behind the wheel. Your options depend on the people you kept alive, the buildings you chose to construct, and the reputation you've earned.

Help someone now and they may remember later. Turn them away and you may live to regret it.

There’s no glowing morality meter, but every decision knocks over another domino down.

THE BAD PART STARTS AFTER SUNSET.

Raids, injuries, equipment failures, and severe weather will punish the station.

Spend your profits on food, medicine, repairs, equipment, heavier defenses, or even people. Build your colony the way you see fit, then cross your fingers.
