The crowd is your hiding place

A Tokyo street. A hundred people walk, stop, check their phones. You are one of them.

If you are a culprit, your goal is to reach the exit. That is all. Run and you stand out. Stop and you look suspicious. The safest way to move is to walk at everyone else's pace.

The wanted poster is not enough

The poster the police carry lists two traits. Black hair. Wearing glasses. That is the whole briefing.

The crowd is full of lookalikes, and people who fit the poster are everywhere you turn. Investigate, narrow it down, get it wrong. Keep at it until you have them.

Swap

A culprit can trade appearances with someone in the crowd. Become a different person before they close in and slip out of trouble — but you will be reported, and the poster will be updated.

The cage and the rescue

Get caught and you are marched to the cage. That is not the end: a teammate can come for you. Write them off and run for it, or take the risk and go back.

Then you switch sides

Attack and defence trade places at halftime. Hunting and being hunted ask for different skills.

How to play

Up to six players online at once. Make a room with a passphrase and only the people who know it can join. On your own, the CPU takes the other seats.
