The machine was built around a hole in reality. Now something on the other side is pulling back.

Black shapes spill from collapsing apertures. Warning lamps burn out one by one. The forge can give you another ball—but every second spent making it stronger gives the incursion more time to spread.

What Iron Cannot Hold is a 360-degree ricochet roguelite where every rebound is a decision. Move your launcher around the full perimeter, take aim anywhere inside the sealed arena, and turn walls, angles, and timing into weapons. Your balls wear out. The enemy does not stay still. And when the machine's final light goes dark, Khaos gets the last word.

BUILD SOMETHING RESILIANT

Between encounters, bolt salvaged hardware into the machine and discover what the next run can become. Fill the arena with multiplying balls. Set the field on fire, freeze targets mid-shift, and chain electricity through the swarm. Build around impossible bank shots, cascading explosions, desperate repairs, or a salvage engine that turns close calls into momentum.

The machine never becomes safe. It just becomes stronger.

KHAOS REMEMBERS

Each sector brings a new hostile ecology, a more strained machine, and a boss forcing itself through the center of the arena. Strange incidents interrupt the containment cycle with salvage races, duels, dangerous bargains, and excursions where the ordinary rules stop applying.

If containment fails, Khaos remembers the attempt. It studies how you played, speaks through the broken machine, and offers one final choice before emergency quarantine slams shut. Return with banked shards, permanent retrofits, a copied seed—or simply a better understanding of what killed you.

Complete six seals to finish the containment protocol. Close the machine and walk away—or reopen it in Overclock and find out how long the line can hold.
