About This Demo

Roll some dice, bank big scores, and try to squeeze out just one more throw before your luck runs out. Purrfect Dice is a roguelike about rolling dice, herding cats, banking big scores, and building a cute cozy empire of chaos over the course of a run.

Every Cat Pulls Its Own Weight
Your dice aren't just dice — they're cats, and every one does something different. Fill your hand with cooperative Calicos, let a big lazy Maine Coon help out your other cats, or let a sneaky Siamese copy its friends. Or even get an aloof Dollface Persian that only lends a paw if it's not in the crowd.

Cats On Parade
Between rounds you'll wander into the shop and also ick up Cat Cards, Treats and Yarn Balls, that make your dice hit harder, your combos pay out more, or just make your life easier. What's on offer changes every visit and every run, so you're always working with what you're given.

The Demo includes:

• 5 Nap long runs

• 5 Cat Dice, each doing something different at the table

• 20 Cat Cards to collect, each with unique effects

• 10 Yarn Balls that each make one type of combo hit harder

• 10 different combos to chase, from an easy Three of a Kind to a "did that seriously just happen" Six of a Kind

The planned full game will have:

• 5 and 9 Nap long runs, as well as optional Endless Mode continuation

• Various Pelage run challenges that significantly change the mechanics and difficulty of a run

• A milestone-based unlocking system for new cards, dice, badges, editions and Pelages.

• 7 Cat Dice types

• 40 Cat Cards, with Feral versions of each Cat Card with altered effects

• 6 badges and 4 editions for Cat Cards with their own special perks

• 6 badges and 4 editions for Cat Dice as well

• 15 Treat Cards, one-use cards with their own mechanics 

• Rewards from runs that let you purchase permanent upgrades

  • Buy slots for your favourite Cat Cards, Treat Cards, badges or editions so they can appear 2 to 4 times as often

  • Adopt 8 Companion Cats, that live in a Cat Studio, and bring along a Companion for your runs
