About This Game

The plot of The Edge of the Backrooms follows an astronaut who discovers an anomaly known as a Null Zone on Jupiter’s moon, Europa. This Null Zone is located far from Earth, causing you to fall into the furthest reaches of the Backrooms ever depicted.

  • Immersive and ultra-realistic found footage gameplay.

  • Strange and uncanny locations spread across multiple levels.

  • A subtle combination of both liminal and cosmic horror elements.

  • Multiple branching pathways and endings. Each playthrough may be different.

  • An unsettling soundtrack.

  • Fully voice-acted.

  • You cannot die during gameplay. However, that does not mean you are alone.

NOTE: This is my own interpretation of the Backrooms. It takes inspiration from Kane Pixels' series and The Complex: Expedition, but these projects are unrelated.
