About This Game

Grind fresh beans, pour a perfect rosetta, snap a photo, and watch the likes roll in. Barista Dream is a cozy first-person barista simulator where every drink is made by your own hands, every corner is yours to shape, and every customer has an opinion they are happy to share online. You start with an empty, dusty room, a cheap machine, and a stack of paper cups. Where it goes from there is up to you.

Your cafe has a social life

Meet BeanGram, a living social network on your in-game phone. Customers post while they drink: some photograph the cup you just served them, others praise your coffee, and the ones you kept waiting will say so. Like their posts, join the comments, and watch your cafe's story unfold in the feed.

Pick up your phone and take your own photos anywhere in the cafe. Find the right angle, write a caption, and share it with your followers' feed. The better your reputation, the more attention your posts get.

Latte art, poured by you

This is not a button press. Tilt the pitcher, steer the stream with your mouse, and draw into the crema yourself. Change your line from thin to thick, watch your milk run down, and start over when it goes wrong. Pour freehand, or practice with guides for the heart, tulip, and rosetta until you can do it from memory. Great art earns bigger tips and catches customers' eyes, and it makes for a very good photo.

Make every cup yourself

Grind the beans, tamp the grounds, pull the shot, and steam the milk to the right temperature. Blend frappuccinos, scoop ice cream for an affogato, and finish drinks with syrup or whipped cream. Customers have their own tastes: extra shots, almond or soy milk, a certain temperature, a certain amount of sugar. Get it right and they will thank you for it, in tips and in public.

Build your cafe from nothing

Clear out the trash, sweep the floors, wash the windows, and paint the walls. Get the power connected, order your first equipment, carry the deliveries inside, and place everything where you want it. Then name your cafe, choose its logo, and open the doors.

Serve your way, one step at a time

Start out with self-service and paper cups. Buy a ceramic set and carry drinks to the tables yourself on a tray. Walk, and you are slow while customers lose patience. Run, and you may spill: a stained cup, a lost tip, and a harsh review for everyone to read. Wash the dishes, clear the tables, and when you can afford it, hire a waiter who never spills a drop.

Upgrade your machines

Work your way from a humble single-group machine to a three-group showpiece across five espresso machines. Better machines pull shots faster, steam milk more quickly, and make better coffee. A cheap machine can turn out a bitter cup, and BeanGram will hear about it.

Run a real business

Set your own prices, order supplies before they run out, keep the place clean, and pay rent, utilities, wages, and taxes every week. Your reputation decides how busy you get. Your bank balance decides whether you stay open.

Make it yours

Choose your walls, floors, and ceiling. Pick the tables, chairs, cups, and glasses. Decorate with art, plants, clocks, signs, and lamps in the color you like. Rearrange the room whenever the shop is closed, and watch it change from a bright morning to a warm evening.

For the quiet moments

Slow afternoon? Sit down at your computer, check your earnings, shop online, or play one of five coffee-themed mini-games. Just keep an eye out: orders don't wait while you play.

Every day, a little more

More coffee recipes, teas, and desserts await as your skills grow. Experience unlocks new recipes, and customers bring more to the counter than an order: they have routines, moods, and something to say.

You left the office for this. Start with one paper cup, and see how far your dream goes.
