Why Early Access?

“DOG LIVES is built on the belief that the game can become even better through community participation. Early Access will allow us to gather feedback from real players and use it to develop new content, expand existing systems, and add new mechs, characters, scenario events, and more. Game balance is also extremely important to us, so we hope to work closely with the community to create the best experience possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently plan to remain in Early Access for approximately six months. However, this schedule may change depending on community feedback, as well as the scope and scale of features and content being developed.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include significantly more content than the Early Access version, including new endings and events, additional mechs and characters, new gameplay features, additional options, and more.

We also plan to improve existing features and fine-tune the overall game balance based on feedback received during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the core elements of the gameplay experience, including the main progression loop, enemy characters, events, and options. The game is playable in its current state, but many planned features, content, and new systems are still actively in development. These will be introduced throughout Early Access, taking community feedback into account.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price of the full version is planned to increase after Early Access. We want to offer the game at a more affordable price to players who support us during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play a very important role throughout Early Access. We primarily plan to monitor the Steam Community Hub for player suggestions, feedback on game balance, bug reports, and feature requests.

This feedback will help us determine development priorities, improve existing systems, and shape the direction of future gameplay. That said, DOG LIVES is being developed independently, and our resources are limited. As a result, decisions about which feedback to implement and when will ultimately be made at the developer's discretion.”

Yo-ho! Welcome to the space frontier of 2083!

Surviving two brutal Earth Unification Wars, a exhausted humanity relocated the Federal Government's capital to the Moon. Driven by secretive Megacorps, lunar development accelerated at a rapid pace. However, space pirates quickly seized upon the thriving trade routes between Earth and the Moon, raiding ships with impunity.

As this golden age of space piracy arrived, four notorious Pirate Captains clashed, igniting the "Pirate War" to claim the legendary title of "Pirate King." The war’s fate will be decided by one-on-one Duels between their chosen representatives.

You are an Ace Pilot who survived the horrific Unification Wars. Under direct orders from the Federation, which has secretly aligned with a pirate faction, your mission is to intervene in this war as a deep-cover spy.

Will you obey orders and fulfill your duty as a "Dog of the Military," or will you break your chains and seize a new freedom? The choice is entirely yours.

DOG LIVES is a tactical Duel Simulation Game. In this era, PMFs (Powered Metal Frames) are ubiquitous humanoid weapons used to settle disputes in high-stakes duels.

The rule of combat is simple: Read your opponent’s moves, execute a Just-Evasion, and strike back with a devastating counter-attack!

Pilot your rusty ship and scrap PMF through the lunar orbit of 2083, load up your rig with custom gear and MOD parts, and defeat the Big Four Pirates with pure skill!
