The universe is a junkyard. Someone is taking advantage of it.

It's 2584: two centuries of mining have wrapped the orbits around the most populated planets in their own debris, which cargo spacecraft have to navigate through. Someone has to clear the way, keep the routes clean. But someone is taking advantage of this situation.

You're Mack. You dreamed of flying military jets, but instead you got the "Broom": a rundown space tug converted into a sweeper. It's your first day as a space janitor, but what was supposed to be just a certification test ends up becoming a debt.

Your Broom is equipped with two barrels that don't shoot bullets: they shoot light, which your eye reads as a color — red, blue, yellow, and the white that contains them all. The first shot claims the debris of a color. You keep hitting it with the right frequency and you'll be rewarded. But be careful: if you hit it with the wrong one, the frequencies interfere, the debris breaks, and the work multiplies. It's the Law of Splitting.

The universe of Spacejunk is a dangerous place, where corporations run the show and you'll have to face some really tough challenges. Every boss is designed to be an exciting challenge, a real test of your gaming skills.

A story full of twists

Between one job and another, there's the Quay: an orbiting hangar where you'll find Dispatch, the broken and sarcastic AI of the station who will be your guide. Then there's Yara, the few-words mechanic who will take care of your ship. Play through all the missions and discover what lies behind the apparent calm of being a space janitor, investigate why you have a debt and who's claiming it.
