Why Early Access?

“Early Access is the right fit because this genre lives or dies on long-term play and community content. Shipping a solid foundation early, then iterating with players and creators, will produce a stronger full release than waiting until every system feels finished in isolation. The game also does not have a true default, fully fleshed out game universe yet -- including graphics. Version 1.0 will have a full game universe with pictures, history, and more.”

“At least 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build already includes the core game: day-by-day promotion management, booking, contracts, storylines, finances, rival companies, networks, injuries and developmental systems, plus modding and Steam Workshop support. The full 1.0 release is planned as a deeper, more polished version of that same foundation — with stronger long-career balance, richer booking and business systems, improved quality of life, more robust modding tools, and greater overall stability. Priorities may shift with player feedback, but 1.0 is meant to refine and complete this game, not replace it.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is a playable wrestling promotion management sim with the core career loop in place. You can create or import a base mod, start a save, step into a living industry day by day, book shows, manage roster and contracts, build titles and storylines, handle finances and operations, interact with networks and rival companies, and deal with injuries and developmental systems. Modding tools and Steam Workshop support for mods and picture packs are available. Systems will continue to deepen and polish through Early Access based on player and creator feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community throughout Early Access through public updates, bug reports, and feature feedback on our official channels — including the website, forums, Discord, and social media. Modders and Workshop creators are especially important to this game, so we will listen closely to how people build, share, and play custom content, then use that feedback to improve simulation balance, quality of life, and modding tools. Player reports from long careers will help prioritize what gets deepened and polished before 1.0.”

Pro Wrestling Tycoon is a text-heavy management simulation of the pro wrestling industry. It does not focus on graphic depictions of sexual acts. Mature themes appear mainly through simulated workplace drama, booking decisions, news, messages, and moddable content.

Violence is central to the setting. Matches, angles, and show presentation can include staged combat, dangerous spots, injuries, rehab, and suspensions. Talent may suffer serious injuries, and characters can die during a save through natural causes, health issues, accidents, in-ring incidents, or overdose. These events are generally presented through text, stats, and management outcomes rather than cinematic gore, but descriptions can still be unsettling.
