About This Game

Play a two-player strategy game against the computer, a friend on the same device, or an online opponent.

Place a stone on an empty point, or jump over an opponent’s stone to capture it. Chain jumps to capture several stones in one turn. The first player to capture ten stones wins.

  • Face computer opponents on Easy, Medium, or Hard.
  • Share one device for a local two-player game.
  • Find an opponent through online matchmaking, or create a private game.
  • Join tournaments and review finished games move by move.
  • Learn the rules with an interactive tutorial.

Tiao is free to play. The game was created by Andreas Edmeier. This digital version is built by Ricos Labs LLC and is open source under the AGPL-3.0 licence.
