What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Fizzburg’s comedy doesn’t come from handcrafted content; it comes from players colliding with the game’s systems. A game like this can only be properly balanced by playing with real groups: rule intensity, contract scores, and blocker ratios will be adjusted using live telemetry. Early Access gives us the opportunity to fine-tune these systems together with the community.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our target is 6–12 months. The timeline will be determined by quality gates rather than a fixed content checklist: no major update will be released until it has gone through real playtesting.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Plan: public matchmaking, a contract marketplace, a night cycle, new rules (magnetism, time), new animals, additional Kap forms, and more projects. The roadmap will be kept public both in-game and on the store page.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“One town map with 7 districts, 5 rules, 6 main projects, 40 contracts, a judgment mechanic, blocker roles, a reveal screen, 4–8 player online multiplayer, and support for 12 languages. The core gameplay loop is fully playable.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The Early Access launch price will remain unchanged throughout Early Access; there may be a small price increase at full release as more content is added. Early supporters will always have paid the lowest price.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“In-game telemetry, Discord feedback channels, and regular playtest nights. Balance changes will be explained in the patch notes, while the “Moments” replay system will make it easy for the community to share funny moments — with the best ones featured in trailers.

About This Game

RULES ARE CONTAGIOUS.

In Fizzburg, physics isn't a setting — it's an epidemic. Scoop up the Bounce rule, pour it on a barrel — now the barrel hops. Smear Slippery on a chicken and it becomes an ice-skating disaster. Five rules — Bounce, Slippery, Sticky, Light, Heavy — leak from pipe vents into town, changing whoever carries them.

BUILD TOGETHER.

Every round the town needs something: a broken bridge repaired, a giant plug hauled to the hole, a cauldron filled. Beams are heavy — that's a two-Kap job. Unless you carry the Light rule as cargo. Every solution is physics, and every physics is a fresh accident.

BUT NOT EVERYONE IS ON YOUR SIDE.

Some of you are saboteurs. No meetings, no voting, no bodies — just the question "why does this beam keep falling in the creek?" If you suspect someone, your evidence is physical: GRAB the suspect, CARRY them to the judgment pier, THROW them in the lake. But you can't do it alone — three holders or nothing. Guess wrong, and the town just lost a worker.

THE REVEAL COMES LAST.

The game confirms nothing. Who was what, who sabotaged which beam, who got launched into the lake while innocent — it all detonates on the end-of-round reveal screen. Then one more round. Because this time it's definitely Kemal.

  • 4-8 players, friend lobbies + room codes (public matchmaking post-EA)
  • 15-20 minute rounds, frictionless loop
  • 5 contagious physics rules, 6 town projects, 40 personal contracts
  • Physical judgment: no vote screen — carry-and-throw
  • A goat, a duck gang, chickens and pigs — all infectable
  • Dress your Kap: 3 forms, lids, labels, liquid effects
  • No horror, no blood, no death — daytime, colorful, storybook chaos
