What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Rooms, combat routes and the pace of the collapse are central to Enter the Cube. We want to refine them with ongoing player feedback, focusing on how each room plays, online stability and how clearly new players can understand the rules.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have not set an end date for Early Access. We intend to move toward full release when online stability, the core gameplay and the overall experience reach the quality we are aiming for. We will share progress and changes to our plans through Steam announcements.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to refine room mechanisms and combat balance, improve performance and the online experience, and make the game easier to learn and use. The scope and order of this work may change during development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is not yet available to purchase. The current development build includes choosing a drop point, looting, combat, portal travel and room collapse, with 21 room designs. The videos show one player against 31 bots. Online PvP in the new version is still in development and validation. English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean interfaces are implemented in the development build; French and German are being added. Before Early Access becomes available to purchase, we will update this answer to describe the playable content in that release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Pricing plans have not been finalized. If we decide to change the price, we will communicate that in advance through Steam announcements.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will collect reports and suggestions through the Steam Discussions and share development updates. We especially welcome feedback on room mechanisms, drop and escape routes, combat balance, performance and online play.”

About This Game

THE BATTLEFIELD CHANGES. FEWER SURVIVORS REMAIN.

Choose where to drop, find weapons and supplies, and fight your way from room to room. Outlast your opponents and leave dangerous areas before the collapse catches you. The last survivor wins.

THE ROOMS COLLAPSE. CHANGE YOUR ROUTE.

Each match combines 34–42 rooms into a randomized map. Watch the red warnings on the global map and find a route to connected safe rooms. The ground you just crossed may not stay safe for long.

ONE DOOR. A DIFFERENT BATTLEFIELD.

Look through a portal before deciding whether to advance or retreat. From an icy village to an underground garage, from neon lanes to a giant chessboard, each new room asks you to adapt.

LOOT. TAKE COVER. FIGHT.

Find weapons and supplies, use cover and choose your exits. Chase an opponent, search for better gear or get out while you can. Every moment you spend in a room brings the collapse closer.

WATCH THE TRAIN. THEN CROSS.

High-speed trains cut through the arena. Time your movements between platforms and tracks. Your opponent’s gun is not the only threat worth watching.

WATCH YOUR NEXT STEP.

Giant chess pieces offer cover, but sections of the board disappear in turns. Choose a position that keeps you out of the line of fire and clear of the gaps below.

THE ARENA IS A POOL TABLE.

Move between oversized billiard balls or switch to a top-down view to aim a shot. Each room’s mechanisms bring a different twist to the fight.

Explore ice floes, bumper cars, neon bowling lanes, moonlit courtyards and more. The current room library contains 21 designs, combined into different layouts each match. A single match does not necessarily include every design.

The game is being developed for up to 32 combatants, with online PvP and bot battles. The videos show a development build with one player and 31 bots. Online PvP in the new version is still in development and validation.
