Write Python-style code to program repair patchers and rescue a corrupting 1.44MB floppy sector by sector. Start with four commands; every file you restore unlocks loops, variables, functions and lists, until your programs bring all 1,474,560 bytes back to life. The whole game fits on one floppy.

About This Game

FREE DEMO AVAILABLE NOW - play up to the moment the soundtrack comes back to life. Your save and your code carry over to the full game.

THE DISK IS DYING

You are inside a 1.44MB floppy disk, and it is rotting. Sectors decay, corruption spreads, and the only tool you have is a repair patcher that does exactly what your code tells it to — nothing more.

WRITE CODE. WATCH IT WORK.

Program your patcher in PyDust, a Python-style language built for this disk. Start with four humble commands. Restore files to unlock loops, variables, functions, lists — and rewrite your program into an automation that runs the rescue while you lean back and watch. Infinite loops don't freeze the game: execution itself is the animation.

  • 20 files to restore — each one unlocks language features, tools, or something stranger

  • Corruption is fuel — salvage rot for DATA, spend DATA to repair. The enemy is the economy

  • Up to 3 patchers in parallel — deploy() child patchers and orchestrate them

  • The silence ends mid-game — restore MUSIC.MOD and the soundtrack literally arrives (9 chiptune tracks, 5 unlockable)

  • NEW DISK+ — escalating replay laps, S–C ranks, achievement badges, a stats card made for sharing

  • 8 CRT themes — neon, DOS blue, phosphor green, amber, and hidden retro palettes

  • Everything is procedural — no asset files. Every pixel and every note is synthesized at runtime

  • The entire game fits in 1,474,560 bytes — the exact capacity of a 3.5" floppy. That's the point

  • Keyboard only. Korean / English / Japanese. 2–4 hours to rescue the disk, then the loops begin

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

AI tools were used during development to help compose the soundtrack, draw the pixel art, and draft text (including localization and this store page), all under human direction — every piece was reviewed, curated, and approved by the developer. All content is fixed at build time; the game contains no live or runtime AI generation.
