Feed the Furnace. Face what follows.

Ember Covenant is a single-player dark-fantasy roguelike deckbuilder built around a dangerous bargain: the cards you sacrifice can strengthen both sides of the battle.

Burn a card to remove it from the current fight, gain Ember, and raise the Heat. Spend that power on your next play, build Ward, or press an advantage before the enemy turns the Furnace against you.

Choose your Keeper

Begin with Mora, the Kindling Witch, or Brother Kaminas of the Iron Penitents. Unlock three more Keepers through play, each with a different gift, burden, and approach to the deck. Shape your strategy through card upgrades, relics, and the choices you carry along the road.

Make the sequence count

Combine Sigils to complete Litanies. See the reward, plan your sequence, and decide which cards to play and which to burn. At shrines, inspect a card's Kindle improvement before committing to it.

Reclaim the four Seals

Choose a branching path through four acts of battles, elite encounters, events, shrines, rest sites, and bosses. Debts complicate the pilgrimage, while the Cinder Tree carries progression between runs.

The Debt introduces the journey in a cinematic opening. Animated Keeper portraits, boss cinematics, and music for each kind of scene accompany your decisions.
