Early Access is an essential step in allowing us to develop both experiences together with the community.

Your feedback, ideas, and gameplay experience will help us balance units, improve mechanics, develop new content, and shape Roma 2443 in the right direction.

Our goal is simple: build Roma 2443 together with its players, listen to the community, and continuously evolve the game over time.

“We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months. This timeframe is an estimate and may change depending on community feedback and development progress.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Throughout Early Access, we plan to evolve Roma 2443 based on community feedback and player experience.

We currently plan to focus on:

Overall game and unit balance to improve both strategic and competitive gameplay.
The co-op experience, with improvements to gameplay and player coordination.
New maps and environments to explore.
New content to expand the different game modes.
General improvements to progression, gameplay systems, and the overall player experience.
Optimization and stability to provide a smoother experience.

These are our current goals for Early Access and may evolve based on community feedback and development priorities.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“EUROPEAN SERVERS ONLY DURING EARLY ACCESS: Due to limited financial resources, we are currently unable to provide dedicated servers in North America or Asia. We plan to expand server availability as the project grows.

The PvP mode is currently fully playable and provides a complete experience. Balance adjustments, gameplay improvements, and new maps may be added over time based on community feedback.

The Extraction mode, playable solo or in co-op, is also fully playable. However, it is still actively being developed and regularly evolving to improve its gameplay, mechanics, and content.

Early Access will allow us to gather community feedback and continue improving and expanding the different game modes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Roma 2443 will be free to play during Early Access.

At the official launch, the game will become a paid product. Players who obtained the game for free during Early Access will keep permanent access to the game and will not need to purchase it again at launch.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to build Roma 2443 together with its community.

We encourage players to join our Discord to discuss the game, share their ideas, report issues, and suggest improvements.

All feedback, suggestions, and improvement requests will be taken seriously and may help shape the future development of the game.

Our goal is to maintain a direct connection with players and evolve Roma 2443 based on their experience and feedback.”
