About This Demo

Astrocraft Demo is the free opening of Astrocraft. You arrive at a barren asteroid with little more than a mining laser and a gravity generator. Mine your first ore, smelt it in your first machines, open your first shop, and watch space travelers dock at your station to buy your goods. Then hand the work to robots: a mining bot digs, an operator bot runs the machines, a service bot stocks the shelves and takes the money. Stand back, watch your station run on its own, and take your first steps along the Trade, Mining, and Production tracks.

Mine

Laser-mine asteroids for ores, crystals, and minerals. Survey rocks with a scanner, blast the tough ones with explosive charges, and unlock a stronger laser as your station levels up. Different asteroids yield different resources.

Produce

Turn raw rock into goods. Smelt ores into ingots, cook up chemicals, and keep your machines running while you are out mining.

Automate

Build your robot crew. Buy specialized bots for mining, machine operation, and shop service. Each robot has fixed skills, needs to recharge, and wears down over time. Repair them at the right moment to keep your station running at full speed.

Sell

Run your own space shops. Stock shelves, set up displays, and serve diverse space travelers, from traders and diplomats to smugglers and military personnel. Take cargo contracts at the Cargo Console for bigger payouts, or fulfill delivery requests at the Station Terminal to level up your station.

Build

Construct your station room by room inside the gravity field. Place shops, factories, habitats, and a landing pad, and connect levels with ramps. Step outside the bubble and you are in zero-G with a jetpack.

Progress

Progress along the Trade, Mining, and Production tracks and unlock new gear at the Station Terminal.

Play together

Build your station solo or team up with up to four players in online co-op.
