About This Game

Loki is a creative, passionate little cat who just crossed the stage at art school, degree in

hand, a passion for design, and an empty bank account, Loki has landed his very first

real-world job at the local neighborhood tile shop, Gary's Garnish.

Loki’s boss, Gary, is an old-school shopkeeper who expects absolute perfection , precision,

and happy customers. He’s keeping a sharp eye on the new hire, which means the pressure

is on.

Loki has the artistic vision, but he needs your help to physically piece the patterns together,

satisfy the picky clients, and most importantly, keep his job and prove he has what it takes.

At its heart, A Pile of Tile is designed to be a sanctuary from a busy day. There are no

punishing timers or high-stress failure states. Instead, the game focuses on the tactile,

satisfying logic of aesthetically themed puzzles, which rely primarily on shapes and colors to

create visually appealing patterns.

What You'll Be Doing:

Customers will bring in specific design blueprints as a target. Some want simple, elegant

patterns for their kitchen floors, while others demand intricate, modern designs for their

luxury patios. Your job is to rotate, flip, and arrange unique shapes to match their dream

style.

As Loki progresses in his job, the designs get trickier! You will encounter complex tiles that

change color, locked pieces that require clever workarounds, multi-layered patterns that will

test your reasoning, and variable layouts that will make your work more difficult.
