What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’re launching in Early Access to build the game alongside our community and shape it through real player feedback.
Your ideas and experiences will help us refine the systems, balance the gameplay and make the final release stronger.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 10 months.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access is where Aviator: Airline Empire expands its timetable. We plan to add more scenarios and game modes, then deepen the options for local multiplayer—more ways to shape the era, the challenge and the rivalries around the table. And there is more on the flight plan. Exact features and timing will evolve with development and player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Aviator: Airline Empire departs Early Access with a Flight School tutorial and three single-player scenarios spanning 1950–1990: six to ten hours of building an airline, reading the market and outmaneuvering your rivals.

Steam Achievements record the milestones along the way. For a different kind of competition, local hot-seat multiplayer seats 2–4 players at one machine. Configure the scenario and AI rivals, then keep creating new airline stories for as long as the timetable runs.

The full game also supports controllers, plus an experimental TV Mode designed for couch play. We will continue to refine, balance and expand Aviator: Airline Empire throughout Early Access with player feedback in the cockpit.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through the Steam Community page, social media and direct player comments. Feedback and discussions will help inform our priorities and guide the game’s development during Early Access.

About This Game

BUILD AN AIRLINE EMPIRE
From the dawn of the Jet Age into the future.

Choose your home city, create your airline and start connecting the world.

Build new routes, expand your fleet and make the decisions that turn a small regional carrier into a global airline empire. As aviation advances through the decades, new aircraft, destinations, opportunities and challenges will reshape the world around you.

CONNECT THE WORLD

Study new destinations, balance business and tourist demand, and build a network that keeps passengers — and profits — moving.

Every new route is an opportunity. Decide where to expand, which aircraft to assign and when the time is right to challenge your rivals in a new market.

opening new routes takes you to new places

The route board is open. Where will your airline fly next?

BUILD A FLEET FOR EVERY ERA

Your airline grows alongside the history of commercial aviation.

Buy the aircraft that fit your strategy, give them your airline's identity and retire ageing models as newer generations arrive. A great aircraft can transform a route — but every aircraft is an investment.

EVERY QUARTER BRINGS NEW DECISIONS

Running an airline is more than choosing where to fly.

Manage staff, fuel reserves, finances, alliances and reputation while adapting to changing markets and events around the world.

History can create unexpected challenges — or the opportunity that takes your airline to the next level.

an event and an opportunity for you

Events around the world can create new opportunities — if you're ready for them.

OUTMANEUVER YOUR RIVALS

You are not building your empire alone.

Rival airlines are expanding their own networks, competing for attractive routes, passengers and prestige. Decide when to compete directly, when to find another opportunity and how aggressively you want your airline to grow.

SHARE THE COCKPIT

Pass the controls around and build rival airlines in local hot-seat multiplayer for 2–4 players. Each player runs their own carrier in the same changing world—then sees who can build the strongest network.

CLASSIC STRATEGY. MODERN PRESENTATION.

Aviator: Airline Empire combines the romance of commercial aviation with the thoughtful decisions of classic strategy games.

Every aircraft is an investment.
Every route is a wager.
Every rival wants to get there before you.

Inspired by SNES-era strategy classics such as Aerobiz Supersonic, Aviator: Airline Empire brings classic airline strategy into a colourful, approachable modern experience.

Easy to learn. Plenty to master.

HOW FAR CAN YOUR AIRLINE GO?

Start with a home city and a handful of opportunities.

Build your network. Grow your fleet. Adapt to a changing world. Outsmart your rivals.

And turn your airline into a name recognised around the globe.
