About This Game

New London fell in a matter of weeks. An automated weapons system malfunctioned, the reactor breached, and the biochemical cloud that followed mutated everyone who couldn't afford the antidote. Decades later, four factions carve up the ruins, and all of them pay contractors in the one currency that matters: essence, the extract that keeps your own mutation at bay. You're the contractor. Which of their wars you fight is up to you.

DET-33 is a bullet-heaven roguelite where the gun is the build. Drop into a procedurally generated district, carve through the horde while your build comes online, kill what the mission demands, and reach the evac before the city closes over you.

Every run is a different contract

A mission is assigned per run and decides what winning means: some runs end at a climax boss, some at an extraction, some when an objective is done. Eight map events (barrages, feeding frenzies, charged storms) rewrite how a floor plays on top of that. No two maps repeat: every district is generated fresh, from tower blocks to flooded ruins to the open wastes.

Build a gun that breaks the game

Over 700 guns across 10 categories, upgraded mid-run through gun parts, skills, and attachments. The centerpiece is senergies: build engines whose components interlock, where one pick changes what the next one means, until your revolver banks withheld damage into a jackpot or your shots leave pulsing rail corridors behind them. Commit to a build line and it opens escalating platinum cards that stack for the rest of the run.

Fight it your way

Auto-fire and auto-aim are the defaults; every mechanic works without touching the mouse. Manual aim is there when you want the extra edge, not because the game demands it. Difficulty runs from Normal up through Extinction, and past that an Ascension ladder for the runs you want to really hurt. On Hard and above, run-start Directives let you rewrite the rules in your favor and against it.

Built for Steam Deck at native resolution from day one. Full controller support with your real button glyphs on every prompt. I made a game I wanted to play.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some pre-rendered assets were created with generative AI tools and then curated, edited and integrated by hand: music tracks and their cover art, some sound effects and portions of 2d artwork (weapon, prop, and enemy sprites.) All generated content was reviewed by the developer before inclusion. No content is AI-generated at runtime.
