About This Game

The dice are cats. Each one is a different cat loaf, blinking and flicking its tail while it waits on the table. Roll six of them, set aside the ones that score, then make a choice: bank what you have, or throw the rest and push for more. Throw nothing that scores and the whole turn goes with it.

One More Throw

The cats will not tell you when to stop. Bank early and you keep a modest pile. Push once more and a Five of a Kind might land. Push twice more and you might walk away with nothing at all. Every run comes down to how many times you were willing to ask.

Every Cat Pulls Its Own Weight
Your dice are cats, and each breed scores in its own way. Calicos only matter in company and pay nothing on their own. Maine Coons get better the more different breeds you bank alongside them. Siamese copy whichever cat they happen to be sitting next to. Dollface Persians pay you for the ones you did not bank at all, which is a strange thing to be rewarded for and exactly as useful as it sounds.

The Shop Is Never The Same Twice

Between rounds you spend your coins. Cat Cards that bend the scoring rules, Treats for one-off emergencies or game-changers, Yarn Balls that make your favourite combo worth more, and Badges and Editions that boost what cards and dice do. What is on the shelf changes every visit and every run, so the build you end up with is rarely the build you set out for.

• 5 and 9-Nap runs, plus an Endless Mode

• 7 Cat Dice breeds

• 40 Cat Cards, plus 40 Charmed versions, each a variation on the theme of its base card. 80 cards in total

• 15 Treat Cards.

• Badges and editions for both cards and dice

• Pelage challenges that rewrite the rules of a whole run

• Permanent unlocks between runs, including eight Companion Cats you can bring along to help you on runs, and upgrade slots that make your chosen cards and badges turn up more often

All artwork in Purrfect Dice is original and human-made, drawn by hand by an artist working with the
developer. To bring it to life we use WAN 2.2 image-to-video, which generates idle animation frames from
those existing drawings. It is never used to generate new images. Every animation is reviewed and
curated by the developer before it goes into the game.
