The girls of Gensokyo fall into the heart of a battlefield

When Nitori's dimensional transporter goes haywire, Reimu, Marisa, and Nitori crash-land in the red desert of an unfamiliar world. Cut off from Gensokyo, they lose most of their familiar magic and their ability to fly, and all around them are armed factions and abandoned military supplies.

There is only one way to survive. Aid the operations of the local allied forces and recover the supplies and dimensional components scattered across the battlefield to complete Nitori's dimensional transporter.

A three-member squad, commanded solo

Reimu, Marisa, and Nitori always deploy as a single squad. Switch between the three characters instantly during combat, and let the AI handle covering fire and fighting for whoever you aren't directly controlling.

Rescue teammates in danger and switch to the right character at the right moment to bring out the strength of all three-on your own.

It's only real loot if you carry it out

Explore a desert battlefield that is freshly generated every deployment, and dig up weapons, ammo, medical supplies, food, and crafting materials from buildings, supply crates, and fallen enemies. But stuffing your bag isn't the end of it. Only by reaching the extraction point alive does the loot truly become yours.

Deeper, more dangerous zones hold more valuable supplies. Weigh your wounded squad, your dwindling ammo, and your full bag, and decide: pull out now, or search just one more spot?

In the desert, thirst is an enemy too

On the scorching battlefield, hunger and thirst press on your squad as well. Carry water and food to manage your survival status, and judge how to divide ammo, medical supplies, and loot across your limited bag. There are moments when a single bottle of water to drink right now matters more than a precious component.

Firearms and overwhelming fire support

Equip modern firearms such as rifles, machine guns, and sniper rifles, and combine them with each character's unique magic. Secure signal flares and target markers to call in close air support from the allied forces. One precise call can turn a losing engagement around-but explosions don't tell friend from foe.

Everything you pick up has a use

Once you make it back safely, store or sell your loot and prepare gear and consumables for the next deployment. Even ordinary junk like scrap metal and wiring is reborn at the crafting bench as ammo, medical supplies, special equipment, and fire-support flares.

Deploy and extract again and again to arm a squad that started with nothing, and build the strength to take on more dangerous zones.

Complete the transporter and return to Gensokyo

Use the rare dimensional components recovered from the battlefield to restore the dimensional core at your base. As the core nears completion, Reimu and her companions reclaim lost powers and gain new abilities, opening up more dangerous operation zones and the next chapter of the story.

Finish all your preparations, break through the final operation, and send the three of them safely back to Gensokyo.
