A 7-minute dreamlike journey through the ancient stones of Matera.

Somewhere between sleep and waking, a young girl finds herself in a world she almost recognizes, guided through the darkness by her grandmother's voice.

She follows that voice into a strange and beautiful dream, where familiar places become unfamiliar, forgotten paths lead somewhere unexpected, and peculiar souls linger in the shadows.

Where the Light Sleeps is a short narrative adventure about dreams, memories, and the pain we hold on to.

Explore the ancient Sassi of Matera, brought to life through real-world photogrammetry. Meet strange and fascinating characters, and follow the dream as it leads you deeper into the darkness, beneath the stone.

Armed with nothing but your whistle, find and gather scattered lights in the darkness, illuminating the fears that hide within the dream.
