About This Game

Lo-Fi with Ruka is a quiet rainy-night study room designed to help you finish what matters, one session at a time.

Write down a goal, choose a 25, 45, or 60-minute focus session, and settle into a looping animated room with lo-fi music. Completed sessions, goals, and focus time build a calendar that helps you review your rhythm over time.

Optional companionship from Ruka

AI companionship is text-first. With your own DeepSeek API key, Ruka can reply to short messages and continue a personal study-room story connected to your progress. With your own StepFun API key, generated replies can be read aloud. Both services are optional, and their keys remain on your device.

Ruka keeps only a bounded memory of recent goals, completion outcomes, and selected non-sensitive preferences. You can clear this companion memory at any time without deleting your focus calendar.

Quiet Steam companionship

When Steam is available, focus progress can sync through Steam Cloud. You can see friends who are focusing, exchange preset notes, and invite up to eight participants into a friends-only group for a synchronized 25-minute session. There is no real-time chat.

Native support is included for Windows 64-bit, Intel Mac, and Apple silicon Mac.

Lo-Fi with Ruka includes optional live generative AI features. Players may provide their own DeepSeek and StepFun API keys to generate short companion chat replies, personalized study-story chapters, and synthesized voice. These features are disabled without player-provided keys. Prompts, the current focus goal or status, and limited recent non-sensitive study context are sent only to the selected providers. API keys and generated content remain local and are not uploaded to Steam Cloud.
