About This Game

Welcome to Syncline, a puzzle game where you roll a line of cubes across a grid. The goal is simple: line them up with the goal blocks. Getting there is trickier — your line can stand on end, climb, split apart and reconnect. If you remember Bloxorz or Cuboid, this is that idea taken to new heights.

A line that comes apart

Your line never rolls off into empty space, so you can't lose a cube by accident. But roll it into a wall and it splits — the cubes that can't pass break off and stay behind. Roll back to pick them up, or leave them where you'll need them later.

The camera is part of the puzzle

Your controls follow the camera. Turn it and the same key rolls you in a new direction — and when the line splits, which cubes you keep depends on which way you're facing. Plenty of levels only open up once you look at them from the right angle.

Dangerous blocks

Some blocks destroy the cube that lands on them, others transform it, and your line splits where it happens. Nothing is random — every threat sits in plain sight, and losing a cube is always a mistake you can trace back.

Features

  • 80+ Levels and Counting: Handcrafted puzzles across themed packs — starting from a tutorial arc that teaches one mechanic at a time and building up to packs that stack them all together.
  • Provably Solvable: Every level is verified by the game's own solver before it ships and stamped with a par — the fewest moves it takes to solve. If it's in the game, it can be solved.
  • Chase Par on the Leaderboards: Per-level Steam leaderboards track your fewest moves, with achievements for finishing packs and for racking up par-perfect solves.
  • Make Your Own Levels: A full in-game editor — the same tool the campaign was made with, verification solver included, so your levels are provably solvable too.
  • Share Through mod.io: Publish your packs and browse, rate and play community packs without leaving the game.
  • No Pressure — Unless You Want It: No move limits, nothing random, think as long as you like. Or switch on the timer and race the leaderboard.
  • Set Up Your Way: Full controller support, fully remappable inputs, and colour themes with colourblind presets.

Simple to roll, hard to line up.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Syncline is developed by me — AI tools were used to assist with parts of development, including code, some text content (UI copy, tutorial hints, level descriptions, store page copy), localization/translations, and some audio. All such content was directed by me and reviewed/edited before being included. No content is generated by AI at runtime — everything players see, hear, and play is fixed at build time.
