About This Game

RUN THE LAPS. RUIN THE FRIENDSHIPS.

RAGEBAIT MARATHON is a top-down racing brawler for 1 to 8 players, built in the spirit of the legendary custom map lobbies of classic RTS games. Race clockwise around the track, bank laps at the finish gate, and be the first to hit the lap goal.

EVERY LANE, A NEW UNIT

Each corner of the track is a teleport pad that warps you to the next lane and swaps you into a random unit. One lap you are a Sprinter with the fastest legs on the track. The next you are a Landship, a rolling fortress with auto cannons and a cross map torpedo. Then a Gambler whose banked laps are a dice roll. Then a Jinx who banks nothing and wipes the leader's score instead.

36 units, each with its own stats, its own unique abilities, and its own way of ruining someone's day. Hover any ability in game for a full explanation. Try out each unit in sandbox mode to get used to them.

FIGHT DIRTY

Turrets, barricades, traps and beacons let you fortify a corner and make the racing line a war crime
Upgrade cards drop as you score: pick up to 5 and shape your run
One nuke per player per game. A 3 second countdown, then the whole map is wiped.
Hooks, gravity wells, flame cones, homing barrages, cross map snipes, score theft and worse

PLAY IT YOUR WAY

Free for all or Team mode, A versus B with a lobby team picker
Online via Steam, or pure LAN play with no Steam required
Bots that race, brawl, hold their fire during the grace period, and will absolutely nuke you on your final lap
Host controls: lap goal, time limit, and unit bans

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE INCLUDED

Matches are short, chaotic, and personal. The scoreboard is a lie until the last lap.
