Why Early Access?

“We want to develop Castle Crew together with our players. The core mechanics are already in place, but we still have ideas that need more development time, including new gameplay features, an additional level, and a helper to assist with finding items.

Early Access will allow us to gather feedback, better understand what players enjoy and what needs improvement, and use those insights to guide development. Our goal is to expand the game while making the experience of bringing order to the castle even more enjoyable and intuitive.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Early Access to last anywhere from a few months to six months. This timeframe may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to expand Castle Crew with new gameplay mechanics, a helper that assists players in finding items, and at least one additional level.

We also intend to refine existing mechanics and improve usability based on community feedback. The scope and priorities of updates may change throughout development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes two levels featuring the core item-sorting and organizing mechanics, secret rooms, and achievements. You can play solo or with friends in online co-op. Steam Cloud saves are also supported.

We estimate that the available content offers around 5–6 hours of solo gameplay, depending on your pace. Development is ongoing, and we plan to expand the game's content and address reported bugs during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently have no plans to change the game's base price when it leaves Early Access. If those plans change, we will let the community know in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will gather feedback, suggestions, and bug reports through the Steam discussions and our Discord server. Player feedback will help us set priorities, refine existing mechanics, and evaluate ideas for new features.

During Early Access, we aim to release regular updates on a weekly basis and share details about the changes. Update frequency may vary depending on the scope of the work, and we will aim to address critical bugs as quickly as possible.”
