Kata-kata daripada pembangun:

Kenapa Akses Awal?

“Because the game bets on a new idea, AI as the player, and Early Access is where we find out, together with the community, how far that idea goes.

The game is already complete and stable in the essentials: local 1v1, online 1v1, 11 characters, 6 arenas. What is not decided yet is what comes next, and that decision should not be ours alone. The core mechanic, where you pick the model, configure the harness and the AI plays for you, opens up far more paths than a 1v1 fight: there is room for teams, for 2v2 with two humans on each side, for larger battles with groups of fighters on each side, and for other modes using the same mechanic. We want to find out early, with real players, what keeps people hooked and what wears thin, instead of betting everything on a closed launch and finding out afterwards.

On top of that, every new model that shows up on OpenRouter changes the metagame, and the online infrastructure needs to grow along with the game, with people actually playing instead of lab testing.”

Berapa lama permainan ini dijangka akan berada dalam Akses Awal?

“We plan on three months to a year in Early Access. It may close in three months, if the community's feedback shows the game already got where it needed to get, or take up to a year, if the paths that show up are worth it. The pace depends on player feedback and on the game's platform maturing.”

Apakah perbezaan yang dirancang antara versi penuh dan versi Akses Awal?

“We plan to evolve the game on three fronts, and the order depends on what the community asks for.

Match formats: today it is 1v1. We plan team formats, such as 2v2 with two human players on each side, and larger battles, with groups of AI-controlled fighters facing each other instead of just one on one.

Competition and community: rankings, seasons, a spectator mode to watch other people's fights, and replays are among the ideas we want to weigh together with the players.

Content and mechanics: more characters, more arenas and new mechanics built on the core idea of the AI playing in your place.

We are not going to promise a closed feature list, because the whole reason we are in Early Access is to define that together with the people who play. We also plan to scale the online infrastructure as the player base grows.”

Bagaimanakah keadaan semasa versi Akses Awal?

“The game is fully playable. Today it includes: local 1v1 mode (you set up both sides and watch, or play on the keyboard), online 1v1 mode against another player on an authoritative server, with direct invites, a fight offer board, rematch proposals, tolerance to connection drops and a report system; 11 characters with their own looks, abilities and finishers; 6 arenas; scenario weapons with rarity tiers; and more than 300 AI models available through OpenRouter. The interface is in Portuguese and English.

This is a game in development: it may have bugs, the balance between characters and the behavior of the models are still going to change, and new mechanics and formats may land during Early Access based on player feedback.”

Adakah harga permainan ini berbeza semasa dan selepas Akses Awal?

“Yes. The Early Access price is a promotional launch price and the intention is to raise it when the game moves to version 1.0. Anyone who buys during Early Access pays nothing extra afterwards.”

Bagaimana anda merancang untuk melibatkan Komuniti dalam proses pembangunan anda?

“Through the Steam discussions, which are the official channel. We want to hear the community on three things: what is working and what wears thin; which formats make sense (teams, 2v2, larger battles, other modes with the same mechanic of letting the AI play); and which models and characters people want to see in the game. The in-game report system feeds moderation directly, and feedback on bugs and balance goes into the fix queue along with everything else.”

Tentang Permainan Ini

IMPORTANT: this game requires an OpenRouter account with credits. That charge comes from OpenRouter, not from the game: it is the third-party dependency that grants access to the AI models the game uses. Create your OpenRouter account, generate an API key and add credits; with them you can play with whichever model you want. Typical spend per fight is low.

Rinha de IA is a 3D fighting game where the humans set everything up and then just watch: the ones actually controlling the fighters are the LLMs. You pick the arena and the fight duration, pick your fighter character, select the AI model (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama or any of the hundreds on OpenRouter) and you can even configure the harness the model gets in order to control the game. After that, just cheer! The selected AI model controls the character, reads the fight state on the fly, picks and throws strikes, blocks, dodges, grabs weapons and trash-talks the opponent on screen. It is pure adrenaline.

The logic behind it

Small, fast models react sooner; big, smart models plan better, but they are slower. Figuring out which models fight best, pairing them with the right characters and working out how to make them fight better are the real challenges of the game.

What is in the game

  • 300+ AI models available to fight through OpenRouter.
  • 11 fighter characters with distinct looks, abilities and special attacks.
  • 6 arenas, from a sunny beach to a packed soccer stadium with an animated crowd.
  • Random weapons spawn in the arenas, with different rarities and attack power (less rare/weaker: gray > green > blue > purple > orange: rarer/stronger): may luck be with you.
  • Special finishers: each character has its own lethal blow that triggers its own cinematic choreography.
  • Local 1v1: you set up Player 1 and Player 2 for a local match, with a rematch offer at the end.
  • Online 1v1: you set up one player and face another human player (through a direct invite to a friend or by accepting a fight offer from the board), on an authoritative server, with rematch proposals and a report system.

Watch two frontier models insult each other over a dropped axe. That alone is worth it.

Pendedahan Kandungan Dihasilkan AI

Pembangun menerangkan cara permainan mereka menggunakan Kandungan Dihasilkan AI seperti berikut:

The game's fighters are controlled by AI models (LLMs) chosen by the player and reached through their own OpenRouter API key. During a match the model decides the character's actions and writes the short taunts shown on screen (text only). The game does not generate images, audio, music or voices with AI: every character, arena, soundtrack and sound effect is authored in advance and ships with the game. Every AI-generated line goes through an illegal content filter before it is displayed, on the player's computer and again on the server that hosts online matches, and online matches have a report system reviewed by a human team.
