About This Game

The Passing Bell is a psychological visual novel focused on the storytelling, atmosphere and narrative exploration. Trapped inside a surreal, ever-shifting manor, you must navigate its corridors and understand what's hidden within its walls. Time, space, and identity have collapsed. To uncover the truth, you must piece together a tragic history.

You wake up in a dark house.

Corridors stretch into nothingness, rooms reshape themselves behind your back, and doors appear and vanish. You have no memory of who you are or why you are here. But you are not alone. You share this shifting space with three strange inhabitants, none of whom seem to acknowledge the others:

• An arrogant young scientist obsessed with a lost research paper.

• A scarred old man burning the last remnants of a life he refuses to talk about.

• A faceless wooden doll waiting patiently in a dying greenhouse because of a promise she can't quite remember.

They will ignore you, lie to you, and scream at you. But they are the key to what has happened.
